Hopi ear candles Auricular Therapy
Hopi Ear Candle is a pleasant non invasive treatment to the ears, which is used to treat a variety of conditions in the ears, nose and throat. The candles work by drawing out any impurities to the surface so it can be removed, like a chimney effect. The Secretion flow is stimulated and the vapours collect and remove deposits and impurities. Most of this can be found in the candle afterwards.
Initially before the treatment a consultation will be completed making sure it is ok for the treatment to be carried out. Afterwards you will be asked to lie on your side and a candle will be placed in your ear it will then be lit. You will feel a warmth feeling in your ear and may hear a crackling. After the candle has burnt down to the level which takes different times with everyone, it will be put out and then placed in the other ear. To finish the treatment a face massage will be given.
